Nick

Here are the results of this afternoon's NPB State Championships at Holmdel Park. Despite some very hot weather conditions that affected all teams running, we ran by far the toughest race of the year! It truly was a peak performance for us and the amount of heart, determination, and true grit to run strong and pass other runners in front of you is what led to such outstanding results for today! Although we did fall short to St. Rose by only 17 points, their coaches said they went to the meet thinking it was going to be a slam dunk victory for them...but the way we ran today left them pacing anxiously awaiting the results. We are all so very proud of you all for stepping up when we needed to perform at our peak performance. And not only did we place 2nd overall as a team, but we have an individual qualifier for the Meet of Championships next week...congratulations team and congratulations Matt!

We are over the moon with how well you all have performed over this long season from way back in July. Every step of the journey led up to this point and nothing was wasted. You all stepped up in a big way when we needed you. Remember too that all of you will be back next year while our competition will lose many to graduation...next year it will be ours for the taking! Congratulations to you all again!
