Here are the results from this afternoon's third and final Cherokee Throw Down throwers meet of the season. With snowy and cold weather in the past few weeks, it was a fantastic opportunity to get one last fine tune up and a chance to throw with new technique before the NPB State Championships. Well done, Maggie!

And certainly we took with advantage of it with fantastic performances and a very nice PR! The season has showed improvement drop by drop over time and we are looking to peak for our best performances of the year next week at states! Incredible job, ladies!!

Here are the results of this morning's NJCTC Winter Championships at Ocean Breeze. After a nearly month-long break from competitive individual meets, the Crusaders made their NY meet debut in the running events. The meet was a resounding success, and we had a strong debut performance, as well as a personal record in the 55-dash event to kick off the day! As we embark on the individual meet season, we've clearly shown that we're making great progress and will continue our success! Well done, Addie!

Here are the results of this morning's meet at the brand new UPenn facility in Philadelphia. It was our debut meet to really showcase our hard work in these past 3 weeks of serious training. We knew that we would see some big performances today and we were not disappointed! With two big indoor track debuts in both the sprints and the endurance events we showed that our training is working very well and that we are on our way to big things and faster times! Congratulations, ladies! Keep pushing and keep working hard!

Here are the results of today's Group State Championships at Holmdel Park. Even though we didn't leave with a team title as last year, we absolutely accomplished some incredibly amazing things today. Together at the beginning of the season we made some important goals both as a team and as individuals. We ultimately wanted our best Holmdel performances at the end of the season when it truly mattered. And today we achieved this in a huge way. Along with the many course PR's we had our two senior runners in the top 10 which qualifies them to the Meet of Champions next week! And also very importantly we had big Holmdel race debuts for our team Freshmen and planting the seeds for the continued successful future of our program!

The other coaches and myself are so proud of you all not only for your efforts today but also your hard work, dedication, and overall enjoyment of the sport these past 4 months. It has been a joy for all of us to see you run at your very best in these past few weeks. Well done, lads! But we aren't yet done yet as we prepare for MoCs next week! Let's keep it going full steam!

Here are the results of this morning's Bob Kiessling Invitational 5K at Dream Park. It was both a very important day to have our fastest race to date on the flat course at Dream Park and to also celebrate our senior athletes in a very special way. Today was by far our absolute best performance of the season to date with some incredible results including a plethora of huge PRs and a 4th place individual finish! We ran some incredibly fast times and we really demonstrated not only to South Jersey but the entire state that we are well ready to be in contention to accomplish something big next week at States! Congratulations, lads, and especially thank you and well done, seniors! But we have the most important part of the season coming up as we enter into one more week of training before our peak competition...let's keep up the hard work and excitement!

Last post by Nick - October 19, 2024, 11:19:40 PM
Here are the results of this afternoon's South Jersey Open at Dream Park. Even though this meet is considered our last of our regular season meets, we ran some incredibly amazing times and showed some true grit to end a full day of top tier meets! It started with our freshmen making their Bishop Eustace XC debut and they performed admirably in the freshman 4K race which had given us a great opening for the day. The varsity then closed our day and ran some phenomenally fast times with well executed race strategy and patience which produced several PRs and a silver medal 2nd place finish! Well done, boys! We have great momentum going into the championship season so let's continue to work hard and get focused on our ultimate goal at the season's end!
